ግለ-ታሪክ
አይናለም መርሴ እባላለሁ፡፡ የሶስት ልጆች አባት ነኝ፡፡ ባለቤቴ ድንቅ ሚስት እና የልጆቻችን እናት ናት፡፡ ዘንድሮ ከተጋባን 35ኛ ዓመታችን ነው፡፡ የመጀመሪያ ልጃችን የመጀመሪያ የልጅ ልጃችንን ከወለደች ዛሬ 8ኛ ወሯ ነው፡፡ እኔና ባለቤቴ አያቶች ሆነናል፡፡
በዚህ አጭር ግለ ታሪክ አስተዳደጌን፣ ቤተ-ሰቤን፣ ትምህርቴን፣ የሥራ ልምዴንና እና አገልግሎቴን ለማጋራት እሞክራለሁ፡፡
ተወልጄ ያደግኩት አዲስ አበባ ነው፡፡ ምንም እንኳ በወላጅ የማደግ እድል ባይገጥመኝም የአያት ግን ቅምጥል ነኝ፡፡ ቀኑን ራሱ አልረሳውም፥ አያቴ መስከረም 24 ቀን 1984 ዓ.ም በ75 ዓመቷ ነው ያረፈችው፡፡ ለእኔ ሁሉ ነገሬ ነበረች፡፡ በእሷ ጥረት ከ1972 ዓ.ም እስከ 1982 ዓ.ም ድረስ በምግባረ ሰናይ ሕጻናት ማሳደጊያ የትምህርት እድል አግኝቻለሁ፡፡ እናቴም ሆነች አባቴ በሕይወት አሉ፡፡ በልዩ ልዩ ምክንያት አብሬ የመኖር እድል አልገጠመኝም፡፡ የመጀመሪያ ልጅ ሆኜ፥ ሁለት ወንድሞችና አንድ እህት አለኝ፡፡ ሕጻናት ማሳደጊያ ከመግባቴ በፊት የነበረኝ አስተዳደግ ቀድሞ “ራስ ኃይሉ ሜዳ” እየተባለ እሚጠራው (መድሐኒዓለም ት/ቤት ወይም መዲሽ) ሰፈር ልጅ ነበርኩ፡፡ ያንን አካባቢ የለቀቅኩት ሕጻናት ማሳደጊያ ከገባሁ በኋላ ነው፡፡ በምግባረ ሰናይ ሕጻናት ማሳደጊያ የነበረኝ የልጅነትና የትምህርት ጊዜ እንደማንኛውም ሕጻን አይረሴ ነው፡፡ ብዙ ትዝታዎች አሉኝ፡፡
ከላይ በመግቢያው ላይ ለመግለጽ እንደሞከርኩት እኔን ጨምሮ የቤተሰቤ አባላት አምስት ነን፡፡ እኔና ባለቤቴ አያቶች ከሆንን በኋላ ደግሞ የትልቋ ልጄ ባለቤትና የተወለደችው ሴት ሕጻን የልጅ ልጃችን ሲጨመሩ ሰባት እንሆናለን፡፡ ልጆቻችን ሁሉም የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪያቸውን በልዩ ልዩ መስክ (fields of study) ይዘዋል፡፡ ወደ ፊት መሆን ለሚፈልጉት ማናቸውም ጥሪያቸው ዝግጅታቸውን ከጌታ ጋር ከወዲሁ እያደረጉ ነው፡፡ ደስ የሚለው ነገር፥ እግዚአብሔር ቤተሰብ አድርጎ የሰጠኝ ቤተሰቤ መለያ ባህሪው ፈርሃ-እግዚአብሔር መሆኑ ነው፡፡ ሁሉም ጌታን ይወዳሉ፣ ጌታንም ይፈራሉ፡፡ እንደ አባት፥ እግዚአብሔርን የሚፈራና የሚያከብር ቤተሰብ ማትረፍ የመጀመሪያም ሆነ የመጨረሻ ድል ነው፡፡ የልጆቻችን እናት ልጆች የማሳደግ፣ ቤት የመምራት እና በማህበራዊ ሕይወት ተሳትፎዋ የተመሰከረላት ናት፡፡ የንግግር ሳይሆን የተግባር ሰው ናት፡፡ ባሳለፍናቸው 35 ዓመታት ያከናወነቻቸው ተግባራት ግልጽ ናቸው፡፡ ልጅን ያህል ነገር ጸንሶ፣ መውለድ፣ ማሳደግ፣ ማስተማር፣ ለወግ ማዕረግ ማብቃትን በእርሷ አይቻለሁ፡፡ ለእኔ እንደ አሳደገችኝ አያቴ ሁሉ፥ ባለቤቴ ሁሉ ነገሬ ናት፡፡ ባለቤቴንም ሆነ ልጆቼን ለመግለጽ ቃል ብጠቀም፥ ሊገልጻቸው የሚችለው፥ “ሚስትህ በቤትህ እልፍኝ ውስጥ እንደሚያፈራ ወይን ናት፤ ልጆችህ በማዕድህ ዙሪያ እንደ ወይራ ቡቃያ ናቸው።” የሚለው ነው (መዝ 128፡3)፡፡
የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ትምህርቴን (ከ1ኛ እስከ 6ኛ) በሕብረት በልጅነት እና ትግል ለነጻነት ትምህርት ቤቶች፣ የቅድመ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቴን (ከ7ኛ እስከ 8ኛ) ደግሞ በሚያዚያ 23 መለሰተኛ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት፣ የ2ኛ ደረጃ ትምህርቴን በከፍተኛ 12 አጠቃላይ 2ኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤት ተከታትያለሁ፡፡ በስተመጨረሻም የከፍተኛ ተቋም ትምህርቶቼን ማለትም፥ በቋንቋና ሥነ-ጽሁፍ ዲፕሎማና የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪ ከኮተቤ መምህራን ትምህርት ኮሌጅ፣ በልጆች መብቶች፣ የመማሪያ ክፍል እና የትምህርት ቤት አስተዳደር ደግሞ አድቫንስድ ዲፕሎማ ከሲውዲን ሉንድ ዩኒቨርሲቲ፣ በሥነ-መለኮት አድቫንስድ ዲፕሎማ ከጥበብ ሕብረት የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ኮሌጅ፣ በቅርቡ ደግሞ በአመራር እና በአስተዳደር የኪነጥበብ ማስተርስ ዲግሪ ከኢትዮጵያ የሥነ መለኮት ድህረ ምረቃ ት/ቤት (EGST) አግኝቼአለሁ፡፡ በብዙ ሕይወቴን የቀየሩ አያሌ ቁጥር ያላቸው ስልጠናዎች በአገር ውስጠና ከአገር ውጪ ወስጃለሁ፡፡ በሰው ልጅ የሕይወት ምህዋር ውስጥ ትምህርትን የመሰለ ነገር የለም፡፡ ዕውቀት የሌለው ሰው ሊተነፍስና ሊንቀሳቀስ ይችላል ግን ጠፍቷል፥ “ሕዝቤ እውቀት ከማጣቱ የተነሣ ጠፍቶአል፤ አንተም እውቀትን ጠልተሃልና እኔ ካህን እንዳትሆነኝ እጠላሃለሁ” (ሆሴዕ 4፡6)፡፡ እስከአሁን የቆየሁባቸው ዘመናት መልህቃቸው ያገኘሁት እውቀት እንድሆነ ይታወቀኛል፡፡
ከሥራ ጋር ተያይዞ በልዩ ልዩ ሙያ ተሰማርቼ አውቃለሁ፡፡ በቀለም መምህርነት ከአሥር ዓመታት ላላነሰ ጊዜ አገልግያለሁ፡፡ ሕብረት በልጅነት የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ት/ቤት፣ ተስፋ ድርጅት ት/ቤት እና ካራማራ መለስተኛ ሁለተኛ ደረጃ ት/ቤቶችን ለአብነት ማንሳት ይቻላል፡፡ ከ 1992 ዓ.ም እስከ 2002 ዓ.ም ድረስ ደግሞ ፕሮጃይኒስት እተባለ ግብረሰናይ ድርጅት ውስጥ በሕዝብ ግንኙነትና የትምህርት መርሐ ግብር ፕሮጀክት ማናጀርነት አገልግያለሁ፡፡ እንደ እድል ሆኖ በሥራ ገበታ ያገኘኋቸው አለቆች (መሪዎች) ሁሉ ሠርተው የሚያሠሩና ምሳሌ የሆነ ሕይወት የነበራቸው በመሆናቸው ተሳክቶልኛል ብል ማጋነን አይሆንም፡፡ “ሥራ ክቡር ነው” በሚለው አባባል እስማማለሁ፡፡ ጌታ ኢየሱስ ከተናገራቸውና ልቤን ከሚያዘልሉ ቃሎቹ አንዱ፥ “አባቴ እስከ ዛሬ ይሠራል እኔም ደግሞ እሠራለሁ” የሚለው ነው (ዮሐ 5፡17)፡፡ በዚህ አጋጣሚ አያቴን ጨምሮ የሥራና ሥነ-ምግባር ምሳሌ ለሆኑት የቀድሞ አለቆቼ (አቶ መሐሪ ተገኝ፣ አቶ በኩረ ከበደ፣ ወ/ሮ ነጻነት መንግስቱ) ያለኝን አክብሮት ልገልጽ እፈልጋለሁ፡፡ እነዚህ ሰዎች መሪዎች ብቻ ሳይሆኑ የሥነ-ምግባር ልኬቶችም ናቸው፡፡ አብሬ በቆየሁባቸው ዘመናት ሁሉ ስድብ፣ ትችትም ሆነ ሰውን ከፍ ዝቅ የማድረግ ልምምድ አላየሁባቸውም፡፡ ያላቸው ፈረሃ-እግዚአብሔር ድንቅ ነው፡፡ ሳላጋንን፥ “ምነው የአምነት ተቋማት መሪዎች በሆኑ” ብዬ የምመኝላቸው ሰዎች ናቸው፡፡ ከእነዚህ አለቆች ጋር ያሳለፍኳቸው ጊዜዎች ለእኔ ትምህርት ቤቶች ናቸው፡፡
አገልግሎት ለእኔ የመኖሬ ምክንያት ነው፡፡ የማገለግለውም፥ አገለግለው ዘንድ ከባርነት በሞቱ ነጻ ያወጣኝን ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስን ነው፡፡ ያለ አገልግሎት መኖር የምችል አይመስለኝም፡፡ ለእኔ ሕይወት ማለት አገልግሎት ነው፡፡ በአገልግሎት ዘንድሮ 29 ዓመት ሞላኝ፡፡ ጌታን ያገኘሁትና የደህንነት ትምህርት ተከታትዬ ያጠናቀቅኩት የዛሬ 30 ዓመት በጉለሌ ሙሉ ወንጌል (ቀድሞ ቀበሌ 11 አዳራሽ እነበረውና ዛሬ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል አካባቢ እሚገኘው ሞቢል ሙሉ ወንጌል) ውስጥ ነው፡፡ ጌታን ያገኘሁበት ዘመን ለእኔ ልዩ ትዝታ አለው፥ ያስደንቀኛልም፡፡ ከጨለማ ወደ ሚደነቅ ብርሀን ከመምጣት በላይ ምን ሊያስደንቅ ይችላል? ከሙሉ ወንጌል የአንድ ዓመት ቆይታ በኋላ የቀሩትን 29 ዓመታት በአገልግሎት ያሳለፍኩት በተልዕኮ ለትውልድ ዓለም አቀፍ አገልግሎት (ቤተ ክርስቲያን) ውስጥ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ቤተ ክርስትያን ውስጥ ካሳለፍኳቸው 29 ዓመታት ውስጥ ቢያንስ 18ቱ እየሠራሁ ያገለገልኩባቸው ናቸው፡፡ በሙሉ ወንጌል ቤተ ክርስትያን የደህንነት ትምህርት ላስተማሩኝና በተልዕኮ ለትውልድ ቤተ ክርስትያን ደግሞ በእግዚአብሔር ቃል እውቀት ላሳደገኝ ዋነኛ ሐዋርያ ታላቅ አክብሮት አለኝ፡፡ ባሳለፍኩአቸው የአገልግሎት ዓመታት በልዩ ልዩ ሚዲያም አስተዋጻኦ ለማድረግ ሞክሪያለሁ፡፡ በጂኤም ኤም ቴሌቪዥን የማለዳ ስንቅ በተሰኘ የመልዕክት አገልግሎት፣ በፌስ ቡክ ተከታታይ መንፈሳዊም ሆኑ ማህበራዊ ጉዳዮችን ያዘሉ መልዕክቶችን በማስተላለፍ፣ “ጅረት” የተሰኘ የዲቮሽን መጽሐፍ አዘጋጅቶ ለቤተ ክርስትያን በማበርከት እና ሌሎች ለቤተ ክርስትያን ጥቅም በሚውሉ ጉዳዮች ላይ እስከአሁን በመሳተፍ ላይ እገኛለሁ፡፡
ወደ ፊት በቤተ ክርስትያን የአንድነት አብይ ጉዳዮች ላይ ለመሥራት ትልቅ ህልም አለኝ፡፡ አንድነት ፍቅር ነው፥ ፍቅር ደግሞ አንድነት ነው፡፡ መጽሐፍ፥ “እርስ በርስዋ የምትለያይ መንግሥት ሁላ ትጠፋለች፥ እርስ በርሱ የሚለያይ ከተማም ሁሉ ወይም ቤት አይቆምም።” ይላል (ማቴ 12፡25)፡፡ ከቤት እስከ ደጅ ይሄ ሁሉ ጥፋት የመጣው ከመለያይትም አይደል፡፡ ጌታ ቢረዳንና ብንኖር አንድ እሚያደርገን ሥራ ላይ ተሳትፌ ባልፍ ደስ ይለኛል፡፡
በስተመጨረሻ በግለ ታሪኬ መጀመሪያ ላይ አመስግኜ ለመነሳት የፈለግኩትን አካል ላንሳ፡፡ እግዚአብሔር ይባላል (እግዚአብሔር አብ)፡፡ በሞቱ ሕይወቱን የሰጠኝ ልጁ ደግሞ ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ (እግዚአብሔር ወልድ)፡፡ “የርስት መያዣ ልሁነው” ብሎ ደግሞ ወደ ምድር የመጣው የእግዚአብሔር መንፈስ (እግዚአብሔር መንፈስ ቅዱስ)፡፡ የዚህ ሁሉ ባለታሪክ አደረገኝ፥ ስሙ ይክበር !!!
Personal Autobiography
My name is Aynalem Mersie. I am the father of three children. My wife is a wonderful wife and mother to our children. Today marks eight months since our first child gave birth to our first granddaughter. My wife and I have become grandparents.
In this short autobiography, I will try to share my upbringing, family, education, work experience, and ministry.
I was born and raised in Addis Ababa. Even though I didn't grow up with my parents, I was raised by my grandmother. I will never forget that day when my grandmother passed away on October 5, 1991, at the age of 75. She meant everything to me. Thanks to her efforts, I received an education from 1979 to 1989 at a charitable orphanage called Migbaresenay. Both of my parents are still alive, but for various reasons, we never had the chance to live together. As the eldest child, I have two brothers and one sister. Before I entered the orphanage, I grew up as a child in a village called Ras Hailu Meda (near Medhanialem School or ‘Medish’). I left that area after entering the orphanage. I will never forget my childhood and school days in the orphanage. I have many memories.
As I tried to explain in the introduction above, there are five members in my family, including myself. After my wife and I become grandparents, there will be seven of us, including the husband of my eldest daughter and our newborn granddaughter. All of our children have bachelor's degrees in various fields of study. They are already preparing with the Lord for whatever calling they want to pursue in the future. Thankfully, the standout feature of my family, which God has blessed me with, is the fear of God. Everyone loves the Lord and reveres Him. As a father and follower of the Lord, having a family that fears and respects God is both the first and the ultimate victory. The mother of our children is known for her role in raising them, managing the household, and participating in social life. She is a woman of action, not just words. Her achievements over the past 35 years speak for themselves. As a witness I have seen in her the ability to conceive, give birth, raise, teach, and bring up to the intended traditional rank. Like my grandmother who raised me, my wife meant everything to me. If I were to use words to describe my wife and children, all I could say is: “Your wife is like a fruitful vine within your house, and your children are like olive shoots around your table.” (Psalm 128:3).
I completed my primary education (grades 1 to 6) at the Hibret Belijinet and Tigil Lenetsanet Schools, my junior secondary education (grades 7 and 8) at Miazia 23 Junior Secondary School, and my upper secondary education at Higher 12 General Secondary School. I then completed higher education with a Diploma and a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature from Kotebe College of Teachers' Education, an Advanced Diploma in Children's Rights, Classroom, and School Administration from the Sweden (Lund University), and an Advanced Diploma in Theology from Tibeb Hibret Bible College. Recently, I earned a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management from the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (EGST). I have also undergone numerous transformative trainings both domestically and internationally. Education is essential in human life. A person without knowledge can live and move, but he/she is lost: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests” (Hosea 4:6). I know that the knowledge I have gained so far has been the anchor of my stay in life.
Regarding working experience, I have been working as a teacher for at least ten years. Examples include Hibret Belijinet Primary School, Hope Organization School, and Karamara Junior Secondary School. From 2000 to 2010, I worked as a project manager for a public relations and educational program at a charity organization called Progynist. Fortunately, I am lucky that all the bosses I have worked with were hardworking and exemplary. I agree with the statement that says, "work is noble." One of the sayings of the Lord Jesus that deeply moved me was: "My Father is still working, and I also am working" (John 5:17). On this occasion, I would like to express my respect for my former bosses (Mr. Mehri Tegegn, Mr. Bekure Kebede, Ms. Netsanet Mengistu), who are exemplary models of work and ethics, including my grandmother. These people are not only leaders but also moral standards. Throughout all the years I have been with them, I have never witnessed any insults, criticism, or bullying. The fear of God they have is wonderful. I wish they could be the leader of institutions of faith. The time I spent with these leaders was a school for me.
Service is the reason for my existence. I serve Christ Jesus, who freed me from slavery through His death so that I could serve Him. I don't think I could live without serving. For me, life is a ministry. I turned 29 this year. I met the Lord and completed my salvation education 30 years ago at the Full Gospel Church of Gulele (formerly Kebele 11 hall, now Mobile Full Gospel near St. Paul's Hospital). The days when I met the Lord hold special memories for me, and I am amazed. What could be more wonderful than coming out of darkness into marvelous light? After a year of full evangelization, I have spent the remaining 29 years in the ministry of the Church of Mission for Nation International Ministry (Church). Of the 29 years I have been part of this church, I have actively served for at least 18 years parallal to what I had responsibilities at Progynist. I have great respect for those who taught me the doctrine of salvation in the Full Gospel Church and the chief apostle as well nurtured me in the knowledge of God's word through the Church of Mission for Nation International Ministry. Throughout my ministry, I have sought to contribute to various media. To this day, I have been involved in GMM Television's ‘Yemaleda Sink’ messaging service, a Facebook series on spiritual and social issues, a devotional book called 'The Stream,' contributing to the Church, and other matters for the benefit of the Church.
I have a big dream to work on the issues of unity in the Church in the future. Unity is love, and love is unity. The Bible says, 'Every kingdom divided against itself will be destroyed, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.' He says (Matthew 12:25). All this destruction from door to door comes from divisions. I would like to be involved in the work that will unite us if the Lord helps us and we live.
Finally, at the beginning of my autobiography, I want to thank the one with whom I want to rise. His name is God the Father. His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for me through His death. And the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, who came to earth as a guarantee of our inheritance. Glory to His name!
